Primary goal of this residential landscape design was to create beautiful views from inside and outside the house. Pathway access from the front yard down to the back lawn area with fruit trees and ornamental shrubs within the landscape, while passing by the basalt water feature. Water feature is placed in view of the covered patio space where the homeowners enjoy entertaining and can sit to hear the sound of water feature.
Once a very overgrown landscape, our goal here was to open fully utilize the landscape with multiple welcoming spaces to entertain with friends.
Included in the design a fire pit sitting area using large boulders as seats, a dining area and a sitting area.
Designed with thoughtful intention for a small city residential lot, this landscape installation features a series of inviting spaces that seamlessly integrate natural curves with an array of edibles, natives, wildflowers and a flowering eco-lawn.
This landscape not only enhances the beauty of the environment but also cultivates a deeper connection to nature, which the homeowners wanted envisioned for their home and family.
What began as a blank canvas has been transformed into a verdant plant retreat from the outside world.
Created a circular patio with a raised seating wall, set within a sloped section of the yard, complemented by new plantings in calming colors to enhance serenity and tranquility. Surrounded by lush greenery, this circular sitting area offers a peaceful retreat to connect with nature.
A challenging slope and to how to best utilize the landscape, where no lawn area was feasible to install. Front yard created a welcoming entrance from down the street and up above from the house. A mixture of evergreen and deciduous shrubs softening and complementing concrete raised beds and steps. Backyard incorporated further terracing with landscape beds complimenting entertaining areas, having a meandering pathway to a firepit area expanding on further entertaining spaces.
