Hardwick Garden Design offers a complimentary 15-minute introductory phone consultation to learn more about your property, discuss your project goals. Simply an opportunity to get acquainted, talk through your project, and determine the best next step for your landscape.
Onsite Consultation for Design Services
The On-Site Landscape Consultation is the first step for clients considering future Landscape Design Services with Hardwick Garden Design.
During this one-hour consultation, we will walk through your property together, identify areas for improvement, discuss your goals, and explore opportunities for your future landscape design.
Deliverables at the onsite consultation service include:
- Written overview report of our consultation together, including preliminary property and jurisdictional research.
- A Landscape Design Services proposal outlining the recommended scope and design deliverables for moving your project forward.
$175 payment for Onsite Consultation, due at time of booking
Garden Coaching Consultation
Looking for guidance on how to care for your existing garden? A Garden Coaching Consultation is designed for homeowners who enjoy working in their gardens but would benefit from professional horticultural guidance, tailored to your garden.
During our one-hour consultation, we will walk through your existing garden in greater depth, discussing plant health, maintenance concerns, and opportunities for improvement while prioritizing the areas where you need the most guidance.
Deliverables from the Garden Coaching Consultation include:
- Prioritization of your top garden needs and projects.
- Guidance on plant health and maintenance to pruning, soil improvement, planting techniques, and selecting the right plants for your space.
- Comprehensive garden package tailored to your existing landscape needs, to do list and summarizing the recommendations discussed during our consultation.
Whether you have a few specific garden questions or simply aren’t sure where to begin, Garden Coaching provides personalized guidance to help you better understand your landscape and confidently care for your garden.
$300 payment for Garden Coaching Consultation, due at time of booking
Landscape Design Service
From ideas to a complete landscape plan
1. Site Analysis
Upon approval of the design proposal, site measurements of the property and existing elements will be recorded to create a base map in CAD. Any known surveys or existing site documents you may have of your property are valuable assets to the landscape design process.
2. Concept Designs
Our second meeting will focus on reviewing two schematic concept designs, each showcasing a unique layout for your property. The goal of this phase is to achieve the “big picture” vision for your project, by placing these ideas on paper. Deliverables will include:
- Two distinct schematic concept designs.
- Images of material suggestions tailored to the design.
- A plant vision board showcasing the proposed plant selections and overall landscape aesthetic.
3. Landscape Layout Revision Plan
Once receive your feedback on the concept drawings, then will refine and create the revised landscape layout plan, followed by an email for approval before finalizing drawings.
4. Final Design
Deliverables at this final design include:
- A detailed planting plan with sizes and quantities.
- Comprehensive hardscape notes and material selection.
- A maintenance care package for all new plants.

Need help finding a contractor for installation? I’d be happy to help! I can support you through every step, from the bid process to the installation of your landscape design.
My project oversight services ensure a smooth process from start to finish, I act as your advocate during the process making sure the final design is installed as intended.
Services include:
- Recommendations for trusted contractors and bid procurement.
- Regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to the original design intent.
- Unlimited availability to answer questions from both the contractor and client.
- Plant procurement and onsite placement.
- Final walk-through to confirm all details are completed.
