After an initial conversation on the phone, the design process begins with a 1-hour on-site consultation at your property, discussing your desires and define goals for your landscape. After evaluating your scope and services needed, you will be given a design proposal outlining the deliverables for your design.
The cost for this onsite consultation is $100, paid prior to meeting date.
If signed the design proposal within 14 days after the consultation date, the consultation fee will be credited towards the design fee.
Upon approval of the design proposal, site measurements of the property and existing elements will be recorded to create a base map in CAD. Any known surveys or existing site documents you may have of your property can help reduce the cost of creating your design.
Our second meeting will be to review two schematic concept designs, demonstrating two different ways these new design ideas can be laid out onto your property. Materials suggestions will be presented alongside a plant vision board for the landscape.
The goal of this phase is to achieve the “big picture” vision for your project, by placing these ideas on paper.
Once receive your feedback on the concept drawings, then will refine and create the revised landscape layout plan, followed by an email for approval before finalizing drawings.
Our final meeting will be the final design drawing presentation which will include a detailed planting plan listing sizes and quantities, detailed notes for materials selection, and maintenance care plant package. The final drawings are installation ready and plans can be taken to your choice of contractor.
If you need help selecting a contractor and bidding, I can guide you through the process.
Design Fees range from $1,000 and $4,500. Prices vary depending upon the size of the property, scope of work, and customization or complexity of landscape structural features.
